DEPOSIT
INSURANCE COVERAGE
Your deposits at Crescent
Credit Union are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of
the federal government. NCUA insures deposits up to $100,000 (higher limits may be
available depending on account title configuration). Your deposits are protected in
exactly the same way that the FDIC insures deposits at member institutions.
In addition to NCUA
insurance, those portions of deposits which are above the NCUA insurance limits are
covered by Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC), a Massachusetts agency. MSIC
insures individual accounts up to $250,000 and joint accounts up to $500,000.
Individual Retirement
Accounts (IRAs) are separately insured up to $100,000 by NCUA, and by MSIC for amounts
above $100,000.
